Aimee Fox, Executive Director

Aimee joined Success Through The Arts Foundation in October 2010 after spending two and a half years as an independent nonprofit consultant.  As a consultant she planned fundraisers, wrote grants, and developed strategic plans for nonprofits of varying sizes in fields including education.  Prior to consulting, Aimee earned an MBA in non-profit strategy and operations from UCLA Anderson and has a BA in Education. Aimee has had a passion for enhancing the self-esteem and academic achievement of struggling students all her life and is thrilled to be using her business acumen and her strength as a communicator to further the mission of Success Through The Arts Foundation and help our students become happy, healthy citizens.

Cheryl Malonson, Program Director

Cheryl began her nonprofit work as a volunteer at Washington Preparatory High School.  She stared working with Success Through The Arts as a member of the Board of Directors and then served as Executive Director for five years.  In 2010, Cheryl transitioned to the role of Program Director allowing her to focus her energies on developing our programs as we grow.  Prior to working for Success Through The Arts, Cheryl retired from Shell Oil Company where she was the Community Relations Manager for the Southern California Region.  Cheryl has received numerous awards including the NAACP Legal and Defense Fund’s “The Black Women of Achievement Award”, the Apple Award for education from the Mayor of Los Angeles and numerous other awards for her community involvement and commitment to education.  Cheryl is a Pepperdine University graduate and holds a degree in Business Management.
